As a church, a tourist destination and, most recently, a home to José Mateo Ballet Theatre, the building has been a community focal point for over a century. José Mateo Ballet Theatre was awarded a Partners in Preservation grant of $100,000 that will restore the original etched glass windows, making the building as vibrant as the Ballet that calls it home.
